Chris Tento and his wife, Meredith,
have two children, Melissa, age 11, and Christopher, age 4. Chris
is self employed and teaches the Bible in various capacities in
Portland, Oregon.
Chris received a challenge from the
Lord in about 1996, to believe God for understanding of the Word
by daily praying the prayer found in Ephesians 1:16-23.

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may
give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of Him, 18a
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may
know what is ....
The Lord challenged Chris to pray
this prayer most every day and see where this would lead him.
Within weeks insight and
understanding started to flow about what the Bible means when it
claims that the believer is "dead to sin." Other teachings also
came; but, the most astounding teaching of them all was that on
the bread and then the cup of the Lord’s Supper. These teachings
came over periods of weeks, months and even years. Chris has
submitted these teachings to hundreds of Christian leaders for
confirmation and feedback.
Chris sees the abundantly clear
calling of God to get the understanding of the bread and cup out
to the world through every means possible, including speaking
engagements and seminars, books, this web site, and the radio.
Chris feels that the bread of the
Lord’s Supper is simply not understood. He feels that there is
great confusion and that people take great liberties regarding the
meaning of the bread. Chris feels that if Christians understood
the true meaning of the bread and cup, our entire world would be
changed.
Chris and his family greatly covet
